GIF: " Grande Image Française " ( Big French Image ) and no!... Graphics Interchange Format , in other words, it is a size of files like : JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group) (not to confuse with a group of photographers experts who smoke joints) recognized by the navigators. Since the basic principle is the cartoon, everything is processed image by image. For my part I work with a software that retouches pictures, so, the first image is put in the wished dimension for the whole set of the animation (think that the more it will be big and the more it will be long to load). Don't forget to save it, one resumes it, and one selects the part which one wishes to animate, this part by means of tools will be moved, revolved and will be replaced in the wanted place (small craftiness the tool "finger" is very useful for the retouch). Here it is the second image is created , save it and prepare the following scene. Then, you only have to assemble everything ( you can download a lot of free softwares from the "Web" in downloading), implanting of images, regulation of time, of the transparency and different parameters according to your imagination. You can find also software packages (always free) to give automatic effects to your images.
Here we are, you know everything,
then ...... good courage! |
- The Frenchman Emile
Reynaud, with his Praxinoscope and his optical Theatre, can be considered
as the pioneer of the animation. But it is the American J.Stuart Blackton
who discovers the first recording embellishes with images by image ( 1906
). The process is tacken back by the Frenchman Emile Cohl, who gives to the
cartoon its first masterpieces. In the United States, the techniques are getting
more perfect, opening the way to Pat Sullivan's searches (Félix the
cat). Walt Disney, who created Mickey in 1928, Inaugurate the lengths - measurements
of animation and impose the "round" style. Tex Avery pulls the cartoon towards
the craziness and the frenzy. After World war 2, other creators stand out,
such as the Canadian Norman McLaren, who investigates all the techniques.
Nowadays, the mouse replaces pencils, paintbrushes and techniques used due
to the data processing would certainly make these pioneer dream.
